IDEA Money Watch tracks the Federal funds provided annually to states and local school districts for special education through three Federal grant programs: IDEA Part B Section 611 (children ages 3-21), IDEA Part B Section 619 (children ages 3-5) and IDEA Part C (infants and toddlers).

March 11, 2024: White House releases President's Budget Request for FY 2025 which includes a $190 million increase for IDEA grants to states. Details are here. Cost to fully fund IDEA is estimated at $46.317 million.
